We are celebrating our 30th year of serving the seniors in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel. Since we began 30 years ago, based on an idea defined and nurtured by our founders Hank and Annie Spaulding, we have offered many classes, programs, volunteer opportunities, multi-generational events and activities designed to stimulate and strengthen mental acuity and provide opportunities for social interaction and connecting with peers. Virtual classes have now been added!
Due to the pandemic, the Center has had to cancel our three major fundraisers, so we thought we’d try a more non-traditional approach of raising funds and acknowledging the excitement and celebration of our 30th year.
We’re kicking off the $30 for 30 Campaign today, June 25th, continuing through July 31, 2020. To donate with a credit card, click the button below to be taken to the $30 for 30 secure form on our website. If donating by check, please make it payable to The Center and mail to 175 Port Rd, Kennebunk, ME 04043. (Please put $30 for 30 on the check).
Help the Center reach its goal of $10,000 and stay tuned for more news on our community appreciation celebration in late August.
Thank you for your consideration.
Gail Hackett Clarke, Board Chair Kate Jollie, Executive Director

Among other changes in our procedures, preregistration is now required for any in-person programming you plan to attend. Please CLICK HERE to read our new procedures, safety policies, and available and unavailable programming. The FISH Medical Rides Program remains suspended until further notice.
We miss having you at the Center – seeing your faces, hearing your laughter or soaking up the peaceful energy from our yoga and tai chi practitioners!
Based on the current status of the Coronavirus crisis, we are going to extend the temporary closure of the Center through mid-June. We are extending the temporary hold on the execution of our FISH medical ride program until further notice.
The health and safety of our members, volunteers, and staff continues to be our 1st priority. We are continuing to follow the recommendations from the CDC, state and local health authorities regarding the precautions to take to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Center staff will continue to work remotely for the duration of the closure. Our focus will be on expanding virtual access to some of our programming like our Chair Yoga classes, Tai Chi and more. We are testing virtual access to the programs each week during the temporary closure and will keep you informed as new classes or programs become available.
We are reviewing the information as it becomes available from Governor Mills, the Maine CDC and the towns of Kennebunk, Kennbunkport and Arundel to help us determine when and how we will re-open. Your safety continues to be our highest priority.
