Program Spotlight: Spring Flower Arranging

Published on Apr 13, 2021

What’s going on at the Center this week? Besides our ever-popular Chair Yoga, Floor Yoga, and Tai Chi classes we have a Spring Flower Arranging Workshop! Join our instructor, Dianne, in person at the Center, and create a flower basket bursting with spring loveliness. Dianne will instruct you through the process of creating your own masterpiece, and all skill levels are welcome!

Take a peek at a few of the creations from our Fall Flower Arranging Program, and please join us this Friday, April 16th for the Spring session! Call the Center to register by April 15th, 10:00 am!

More Reasons to Run

Published on Apr 06, 2021

The Center has been supporting the seniors in our communities for 30 years and never has that been more important than during this pandemic, where isolation was at an all-time high. Your support of the 29th Annual Kennebunk Beach Classic allows us to continue to offer our programs: educational sessions, art programs, physical movement classes, nutritious luncheons, Tender Loving Calls (TLC check-in calls), and more.

Grab your quarantine pod and run, walk, or jog to support the Center or to honor the seniors in your life you’ve been socially distancing from and missing. If that isn’t enough of a reason, new this year is a fundraising opportunity! Courtesy of Quest Fitness in Kennebunk, the person who raises the most funds will win a FREE ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP to Quest Fitness.

If you haven’t registered yet, what are you waiting for? Get in on the FUN of this FUNDRAISER!

We are pleased to partner with one of our newest sponsors, Reform Physical Therapy, to offer the program “Physiological Changes in the Aging Athlete” brought to us by Physical Therapist Bobby Cochrane!

This program will take place on Friday, March 26th at 12:00 via Zoom, where Bobby will help us understand the changes that take place within our bodies as we age and give us tips and tricks to stay out of harm’s way as we indulge in our favorite Spring activities: gardening, golding, walking, and cycling!
