2011 Scholarships

For the year 2011, the Senior Center at Lower Village is pleased to announce three scholarships.

The Hartley Lord Scholarship is awarded annually to individuals who have chosen to pursue post secondary education from an accredited program leading to a degree or certification in a field that focuses on the well being and needs of the senior members of our society. Such a field of study may include but, would not necessarily be limited to community service, eldercare, nursing or medicine.

The Dick Eaton Memorial Scholarship will be awarded in 2011 to a student from Kennebunk High School who will be attending the University of Maine at Orono to pursue a degree in Engineering.

The Betty Eaton Memorial Scholarship will be awarded in 2011 to a student from Kennebunk High School who will be attending the University of Maine at Orono to pursue a degree in Education.
