Coastal Kitchen Tour sponsored by the Senior Center at Lower Village has been a huge success every year for the past 5 years. On Saturday, October 10th, the 6th Coastal Kitchen Tour should prove to be no different. Once again, this year we will be inviting guests to visit the kitchens of some of the loveliest homes in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport.

There will be a wide range of different kitchen styles on the tour. Our guests really love our kitchen tours and look forward to it each year - it's a wonderful occasion to get some new ideas, to see different styles of cabinetry, flooring and appliances. It is also an excellent opportunity for the folks that are remodeling or building to be inspired and discover new vendors for their projects. As everyone moves from home to home, from kitchen to kitchen, the excitement builds, the discussions are energetic, and everyone who attends is being inspired. What a dynamic experience. They can't wait to get to work on their projects incorporating some of the good ideas that they have seen on our kitchen tour.

You will not want to miss this one. It really is looking like it will be the best yet and a huge success. We are lining up marvelous kitchens with state of the art appliances, custom cabinetry and distinctive floors of hardwood and tile. And you won't want to forget to notice all the accessories, furnishings and window fashions in each individual decorating scheme. Whether your style is sophisticated, casual or anywhere in between, this year's Coastal Kitchen Tour promises to capture you and sweep you away on a whirlwind of dreams for your next project.

Throughout the day, we'll be offering a "taste" of treats made from recipes found in our cookbook, The Center Cooks. Once you sample these recipes, you'll want to have your own copy and what could be a more perfect holiday gift! The Center Cooks will be available for purchase for only $15.00 a copy.

Mark October 10th on your calendar and start Columbus Day weekend right. Begin at the Center where you buy your brochure, which will serve as your ticket throughout the day. The map inside will direct you to these fabulous homes and provide insight into the design of each kitchen. Tickets are $15 for Senior Center members. For non-members, tickets are $18 if purchased in advance or $20 on the day of the tour.
